Digital and sustainable use of forest stands and their resources.

We offer solutions to support the management of forest stands and the natural environment, as well as the use of their resources. Our approach is based on the design of management models that allow us to adapt the use of resources to the needs of the market and the challenges of current climate change.
We work in the elaboration, analysis and implementation of silvicultural references and management processes, with the aim of promoting the continuity and sustainability of forest resources and the natural environment. We use technologies such as sensors and remote data, such as LiDAR and satellite images, to collect field data and generate a large volume of information (Big Data). This data is processed and modeled to obtain a comprehensive view and define the best possible sustainable forest management measures.
A fundamental aspect of our work is to quantify the value of ecosystem services in order to optimize their management. This involves promoting investments in the territory and working with geographic information systems and digital terrestrial technology (DTT). In this way, we generate a database that allows us to make informed decisions and apply best practices in forest management. Furthermore, this proper forest management is the basis for the traceability and safety of forest-derived products.

PROBLEMS IT SOLVES

We face the challenge of adapting forest management to the new scenarios generated by climate change. One of our main efforts lies in defining, analyzing and implementing silvicultural management measures adapted to the forest species present in the stands. We also quantify the value of other ecosystem resources.
Our approach is based on the design of adaptive management models that consider climate change and promote sustainability. Using advanced technologies and data analysis, we quantify ecosystem resources and make informed decisions.
Climate change has generated more extreme environmental conditions, increasing the risk of large forest fires. Our work in forest management seeks to prevent these disasters through an adaptive approach. We work to establish appropriate management measures that help mitigate the risk of large fires and promote the health and resilience of forest ecosystems.
Our technology center is dedicated to providing innovative technical solutions for forestry and environmental management, with the aim of contributing to responsible forest management, ensuring the continuity, traceability and safety of forest products, while preventing major fires and promoting the resilience of forest ecosystems.
