We have state-of-the-art facilities that allow us to develop comprehensive solutions for the prototyping and evaluation of wood products.
We have capabilities in the prototyping of laminated products (KVH-spliced structural timber, glued laminated timber, composite products such as I-joist beams, box beams, etc.), wood-based panels (particleboard, fiberboard and plywood, among others) and composite products with a higher degree of prefabrication, to offer innovative solutions to the construction sector.
Our testing laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, which allows us to improve existing products and their industrial processes, as well as to implement manufacturing technologies that increase our customers’ competitiveness.
We support the development and implementation of new manufacturing technologies, such as mechanical sorting systems for structural wood by machine and heat-treating of wood to improve its natural durability.
We also use digital technology for the proper use of products, among other innovative tools.
We provide support to companies in the wood sector through our technology, offering a comprehensive service that allows them to improve their products and processes, as well as to develop and evaluate new products without interruptions in production or other inconveniences. In addition, we work on our own R+D+i projects with the aim of offering solutions that improve the competitiveness of the sector and respond to its current and future needs.
Our innovation focuses on the use of new types of wood, bio-based adhesives, raw material optimization, recycled materials and construction solutions with high manufacturability and low environmental impact. We are committed to sustainable development and are constantly looking for innovative ways to use wood as a building material, maximizing its potential and minimizing its impact on the environment.
Prototyping line for laminated products, with experience in the manufacture of softwood, hardwood (beech, poplar, oak) and combined (softwood and hardwood) laminated timber, in the manufacture of composite products such as I-joist beams, Brettstapel products, in the use and evaluation of different types of adhesives, etc.
Prototyping line of wood-based panels, with experience in the manufacture of panels including alternative wood species to those currently used by the industry or other materials (waste) such as straw, as well as in the use of new types of adhesives with lower environmental impact.
Machining and assembly line for the prototyping of new construction solutions, with experience in the manufacture of load-bearing and self-supporting panels, light wood-framed panels, prefabricated facades, composite wood panels based on solid wood assembled with dovetail joints, etc.
