The 2nd Castilla y Le\u00f3n Health Research and Innovation Hub brought together more than 200 professionals to address strategic advances in the healthcare field. NODDO played a leading role in this key event, framed in the Strategic Plan in Health 2023-2027, contributing as a jury in the selection of the most innovative projects and delivering the award to the best therapeutic solutions. <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Last October, we attended the 2nd Castilla y Le\u00f3n Health Research and Innovation Hub, held at the Complejo Asistencial Universitario de Le\u00f3n. This event, organized by the Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biosanitaria de Le\u00f3n (IBioLE\u00d3N) in collaboration with the Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud de Castilla y Le\u00f3n and supported by the Consejer\u00eda de Sanidad de la Junta de Castilla y Le\u00f3n, brought together more than 200 healthcare professionals and representatives of the public and private healthcare sector. <\/p>\n\n

NODDO<\/a> was honored to actively participate in this key event for the advancement of innovation and health research in our region.<\/p>\n\n

A day marked by collaboration and innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The event began with the presence of authorities such as the Managing Director of the Regional Health Management, Violeta Mart\u00ednez Pindado, and the Managing Director of the Complejo Asistencial Universitario de Le\u00f3n, Alfonso Rodr\u00edguez-Hevia, who highlighted the relevance of the Strategic Plan for Research and Innovation in Health 2023-2027 for Castilla y Le\u00f3n. Throughout the day, strategic issues such as the catalytic role of IBioLE\u00d3N were discussed, with presentations by Fernando Escalante Barrig\u00f3n, scientific director of IBioLE\u00d3N, and enriching dialogues with professionals such as Ana L\u00f3pez Gonz\u00e1lez and Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Pelayo Ter\u00e1n. <\/p>\n\n

The event also provided an opportunity to recognize excellence in research. The director of NODDO, had the privilege of being part of the jury that evaluated the projects presented at the II Biosanitary Research Awards of Castilla y Le\u00f3n, where initiatives with great potential for application and scalability in our health system were highlighted.<\/p>\n\n

Recognition for innovation in health<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

One of the most exciting moments of the event was the award ceremony of the 2nd Health Innovation Challenges Competition<\/a>. Our president, Pablo Sabin, had the honor of presenting the award in Area III: Therapeutic Advances, rewarding Mar\u00eda Rodr\u00edguez D\u00edaz for her innovative project “Development of injectable gels for the treatment of osteoarthritis”. This recognition underlines NODDO<\/a> ‘s commitment to promote innovative solutions that improve the quality of life of patients. <\/p>\n\n

Collaboration opportunities for wellness and health in Castilla y Le\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The day concluded with a networking space, where professionals, institutions and business entities were able to exchange ideas and establish alliances. These types of meetings are vital to foster collaboration and to continue working together for wellness and health in Castilla y Le\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n
