Promoting their participation is key to the development of a more competitive and sustainable ecosystem. <\/p>\n\n<p>Eduardo de Andr\u00e9s Mart\u00ednez, director of <strong>NODDO<\/strong>, highlights:<br\/><em>&#8220;It is essential to recognize and promote female talent in Science and Innovation. In Castilla y Le\u00f3n we have highly qualified professionals, and every day we see a larger number of women contributing to technological development. They also participate in projects such as <strong>GILL (Developing a pan-European collaboration hub for open gendered innovation)<\/strong>, a European initiative to promote innovation with a gender perspective<a href=\"https:\/\/gi-ll.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">(more information here<\/a>). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cartif.es\/?utm_source=noddo.es&amp;utm_medium=link&amp;utm_id=linkbuilding&amp;utm_content=es\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.cartif.es\/?utm_source=noddo.es&amp;utm_medium=link&amp;utm_id=linkbuilding&amp;utm_content=es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><strong>CARTIF<\/strong> <\/a>also strengthens the presence of women in science, with more than <strong>40% of its staff made up of women<\/strong>, who participate in innovation projects in multiple technological areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.icamcyl.com\/?utm_source=noddo.es&amp;utm_medium=link&amp;utm_id=linkbuilding&amp;utm_content=es\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.icamcyl.com\/?utm_source=noddo.es&amp;utm_medium=link&amp;utm_id=linkbuilding&amp;utm_content=es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><strong>ICAMCyL<\/strong> <\/a>stands out for having <strong>70% of female talent in its staff<\/strong>, of which <strong>80% have STEM profiles<\/strong>. An example of this are professionals with diverse profiles such as aerospace engineer with specialization in data analysis, mining and energy engineer, geologist specialized in Advanced Paleontology, industrial engineer or biotechnologist specialized in water management and environmental quality, among others. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/itcl.es\/?utm_source=noddo.es&amp;utm_medium=link&amp;utm_id=linkbuilding&amp;utm_content=es\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/itcl.es\/?utm_source=noddo.es&amp;utm_medium=link&amp;utm_id=linkbuilding&amp;utm_content=es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><strong>ITCL<\/strong> <\/a>will make visible the role of women in science through a <strong>video with testimonials from senior and junior researchers<\/strong>, showing their experience and career in the sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Castilla y Le\u00f3n is a region with enormous potential in the field of innovation and science. The community has a <strong>network of technology centers, universities and emerging companies<\/strong> that are increasingly betting on female talent. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Innovation with impact: the female approach to science<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>A key aspect revealed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ciencia.gob.es\/dam\/jcr:735fdaa3-5120-473f-a49b-772a9d3f5a95\/MujeresInnovacion2024.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"> <em>Women and Innovation 2024<\/em> report<\/a> is the vision that women have of innovation. <strong>64.5% of the women interviewed indicated that their main motivation for starting a business is to generate a positive impact on society<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>This approach to innovation as a tool for social transformation is a differential value that we must promote.<\/p>\n\n<p>Paradoxically, however, the presence of women is lower in sectors linked to <strong>Knowledge Transfer and Innovation<\/strong>, where their impact could be even greater.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>The future of women in science: challenges and opportunities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Advances in equality policies are generating opportunities, but there is still much to be done. It is essential to continue promoting: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>STEM vocations from an early age<\/strong>, so that more girls and young women become interested in science and technology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mentoring and women&#8217;s leadership initiatives<\/strong> to promote <strong>female<\/strong> role models.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>More presence in strategic sectors<\/strong>, such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology and digital innovation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>From <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/noddo.es\/en\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/noddo.es\/en\/\">NODDO<\/a><\/strong>we reaffirm our commitment to equality in science and innovation.
