On October 3, the Conference on Technological Applications in the agri-food industry will be held. It will take place at the Fundación Ávila, and will present technological applications to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the food industry, including the presentation of the case of a reference company and the interactive exhibition of demonstrators of real applications by NODDO, the Network of Technology Centers of Catilla y León.
The event is aimed at managers and technical managers of SMEs in the food industry.

The event will have technology demonstrators in “Showroom” format where attendees, arranged in small groups, will be able to visit each demonstrator on a rotating basis to facilitate and encourage interaction.
Demonstrators will be on Intelligent metering device for silos to optimize feed and water consumption in livestock farms, by AIR Institute; Food extrusion and biofilters in greenhouses, byCARTIF; High nutritional value food formulation, by CARTIF; Formulation of foods with high nutritional value, from CETECE; Digital tools for the collection and study of edible wild mushrooms: Micocyl App and Smartbasket App, from Cesefor; Biomaterial solutions for a more sustainable agri-food sector, by CIDAUT; Biodegradable polymers with biocidal properties for agricultural applications, by CTME; Innovative systems for effluent management in agribusiness, by itagra.ct and Production control systems (MES) and maintenance management (CMMS) in a cookie manufacturing company, by ITCL.
During the day, cases of reference companies will also be presented and B2B meetings will be held to identify possibilities for knowledge transfer between participating technology centers and universities and the attending companies.
