In October, the Fundación Ávila will host an in-person seminar on technological applications in the automotive industry.
The event, focused on technical and/or manufacturing and/or business strategy managers of the automotive industrial sector, will start with the opening by Alberto López Casillas, Coordinator of the Knowledge Transfer Center. Diputación de Ávila; José Francisco Diego Calvo, Territorial Director of ICE, Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León; and Eva Ferrero Infestas, NODDO Project Manager.
The conference will have technology demonstrators in “Showroom” format where attendees, arranged in small groups, will be able to visit each demonstrator on a rotating basis to facilitate and encourage interaction.
The demonstrators will be on the digital solution for the monitoring of particulate matter generated by vehicles, by CARTIF; Enabling Technologies for the determination of occupant positioning in autonomous, safe, sustainable and connected mobility, by CIDAUT; Application of surface treatments by thermal spray as a sustainability strategy in the transport sector, by CTME; and Traffic Accident Reconstruction, by TIDOP Group.
During the day, cases of reference companies such as CESVIMA will also be presented, ending with B2B meetings to identify possibilities for knowledge transfer between participating technology centers and universities and the attending companies.
The event, which will be held exclusively in person, is held in collaboration with the Institute for Business Competitiveness (ICE) of Castilla y León in the framework of the Program for Training, Technology Transfer and Support for Business R&D&I (Centr@tec3), EEI2 and is organized by ICE, the Institute for Business Competitiveness and the Regional Government of Castilla y León.
Participants include the Diputación de Ávila, the City Council of Ávila, Grupo Tipod, Cartif, Cesefor, Cidaut and ITCL.
