The NODDO Communications Group, along with its eight partner Technology Centers, met in Valladolid to discuss priorities, strengthen their collaborative efforts, and address new challenges such as the integration of artificial intelligence into communication processes.

On September 17, NODDO held another in-person meeting of its Communications Group in Valladolid, with the participation of its eight partner technology centers: AIR Institute, CARTIF, Cesefor, CETECE, CTME, ICAMCyL, Itagra, and ITCL
The event was designed as a forum for collaboration, exchange, and learning, with the aim of continuing to strengthen the relationship between NODDO and the communications teams at its eight partner technology centers.
In addition to reviewing priorities and opportunities for joint communication, the meeting provided an opportunity to share experiences, needs, and proposals; make progress on a common framework; and devote a specific session to the application of artificial intelligence in communication processes.
Communication: A Strategic Role in Innovation
One of the main objectives of the event was to discuss how to continue strengthening the strategic role of communication and make the most of the synergies between NODDO and its partner technology centers.
Communication cannot be understood solely as the final dissemination of an activity, a project, or a result. In organizations involved in innovation and technological development, it is a cross-functional role that helps explain the value of the knowledge generated, connect capabilities with business needs, strengthen market positioning, and raise awareness of the impact of R&D&I.
For this reason, communication requires planning, resources, coordination, and its own objectives, and should be given the same level of consideration as other strategic areas within an organization.
In this context, the Communications Group helps create a stable platform for interaction between NODDO and the Centers, identify opportunities for collaboration, and develop a shared vision regarding what to communicate, how to do so, and where joint action can add the most value.
Shared Priorities for the Coming Months
The first working session focused on NODDO’s Communication and Marketing Plan, with the goal of presenting and agreeing on priorities between NODDO and its eight partner technology centers.
During the session, participants discussed communication and marketing objectives, coordination among the various teams, content and projects with potential for joint communication, as well as the needs, proposals, and input raised by the Centers themselves.
This collaborative effort allows us to continue making progress in communication planning and to better leverage existing synergies, while always preserving the identity, specialization, and leading role of each Technology Center.
It is not a matter of communicating the same message to everyone, but rather of identifying those areas where combining capabilities and sharing approaches can broaden our reach and improve understanding of the technological value contributed by each center and the association as a whole.
Artificial Intelligence Applied to Communication
The event also included a workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Communication, led by Múltiplo , with a strongly practical focus.
The training covered the current ecosystem of artificial intelligence tools, criteria for selecting and using these technologies, SEM and GEO positioning, the synthesis of technical information, content creation, and the development of agents and templates that can be integrated into the day-to-day work of communications teams.
One of the central themes of the session was the importance of combining the new possibilities offered by AI with professional judgment. The discussion focused on issues related to the reliability and accuracy of content, ethics, editorial quality, and the need to maintain human validation processes prior to any publication.
Artificial intelligence offers an opportunity to optimize processes, facilitate the handling of complex technical information, and support certain communication tasks, but its implementation also requires establishing clear criteria for use, governance, and accountability.
We at NODDO would like to thank Múltiplo and its team for the training they provided and for their ability to apply these tools to the specific context of technology communication and the teams’ day-to-day work.

Build a team to communicate more effectively
The day concluded with a session dedicated to discussion among the communications teams, the exchange of experiences, and the identification of needs and potential joint actions.
These types of in-person meetings are especially important for continuing to build teamwork, share approaches, build trust, and strengthen collaboration between NODDO and its partner technology centers.
We at NODDO would like to thank the AIR Institute, CARTIF, Cesefor, CETECE, CTME, ICAMCyL, Itagra, and ITCL for their participation in the conference and, especially, for their interest, commitment, and all the contributions they made during the event.
Collaboration among communications teams provides a better understanding of what is happening at each center, helps identify shared opportunities, facilitates the exchange of best practices, and maximizes the impact of projects, capabilities, and results.
Because communicating innovation isn’t just about telling people what we do. It also means making knowledge accessible, connecting it with those who may need it, and helping the capabilities of our partner technology centers reach further.
