BIOSPAIN 2026 reinforces Bilbao as a biotechnology meeting point
BIOSPAIN 2026, the main biotechnology event in Spain and one of the major European events in the sector, will be held from September 29 to October 1 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Barakaldo.
The event, organized by AseBiohas consolidated its position as a strategic event for the national and international biotechnology ecosystem and, in addition, begins a new stage with an annual format. The choice of Bilbao reinforces the role of the city and its surroundings as a reference enclave for innovation, industry and the connection between science, business and investment.

BIOSPAIN is recognized as one of the largest biotechnology events promoted by a national bioindustry association in Europe and as one of the most relevant in terms of volume of one-to-one meetings and business participation. The previous edition brought together 2,400 attendees, 1,065 companies, 140 investors, 76 investment firms and 4,500 one-to-one meetings, confirming its capacity to generate qualified networking, business opportunities and international collaboration.

BIOSPAIN 2026 will once again combine an international partnering platform, a high-level conference program, exhibition area, sponsorship options, networking spaces and Talent Day. In the partnering area, delegates will be able to create their profile, manage their agenda and request bilateral meetings, while the platform will enable new meeting request functionalities from August 24, 2026.
