NODDO, the Network of Technology Centers of Castilla y León promotes technology transfer and competitiveness at Transfiere 2025

Transfiere 2025, the main European forum for science, technology and innovation brings together leaders and experts to promote knowledge transfer and industrial competitiveness. NODDO and the nine Technology Centers of Castilla y León actively participate, presenting innovative projects ranging from artificial intelligence to bioeconomy, highlighting their commitment to sustainable development and digital transformation.

Transfiere 2025, the main European forum for science, technology and innovation brings together leaders and experts to boost knowledge transfer and industrial competitiveness. NODDO and the nine Technology Centers of Castilla y León actively participate, presenting innovative projects ranging from artificial intelligence to bioeconomy, highlighting their commitment to sustainable development and digital transformation.

Transfiere is the main European forum for science, technology and innovation, consolidating itself as a key event for the transfer of knowledge and the promotion of R&D&I. In its 2025 edition, held at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (FYCMA), it has brought together more than 600 companies and entities from over 30 countries, becoming a reference space for the innovative ecosystem.

More than 100 intermediate innovation organizations, 80 universities and representatives of 90% of Spain’s autonomous communities participate in this event, where advances in artificial intelligence, bioeconomy, digitalization and industry 5.0 are shared.

In addition, Transfiere promotes entrepreneurship with the presence of more than 60 startups and the exhibition of more than 100 technological prototypes, creating a unique platform for public-private collaboration and access to financing and internationalization.

In this context, NODDO and the Technology Centers of Castilla y León play a key role, presenting innovative projects that strengthen industrial competitiveness and digital transformation in strategic sectors.

They participate in a grouped stand together with Fedit, Spanish Federation of Technological Centers, and other 22 Technological Centers and autonomic groups, AIN, AITIIP, ATIGA, CTC, CETEM, CIDAUT, CIT-UPC, CTAG, CTCR, CTIC, EURECAT, FIDAMC, FUNDITEC, ITE, ITECAM, ITENE, Leitat, NODDO, REDIT, TECNALIA, TECNOVA and TEKNIKER, with the objective of promoting technology transfer and industrial competitiveness.

NODDO, the Network of Technological Centers of Castilla y León

NODDO is the Network of Technology Centers of Castilla y León, acting as the main integrating agent in R&D&I to boost business competitiveness through innovation. The Network brings together nine technology centers that, together, have the talent of more than 820 people, develop about 650 R+D+i projects annually and have collaborated with more than 2000 companies in the last three years.

  • CARTIFCARTIF: Reference center for applied research in multiple sectors such as Industrial and Digital Systems, Agri-Food and Processes, and Energy.

  • CeseforDedicated to forest sustainability and bioeconomy, promoting sustainability, innovation and research.
  • CIDAUTCenter for research in sustainable transport, energy and environment.
  • CTMECTME: Specialized in materials and industrial processes, in addition to promoting solutions through applied research projects.
  • ItagraAgricultural and Agri-Food Technology Center focused on the agricultural and livestock, environmental and agri-food industry sectors.
  • ICAMCyLInternational Center for Advanced Materials and Raw Materials of Castilla y León dedicated to the efficient management of industrial resources, energy efficiency, eco-innovation and substitution of critical materials.
  • ITCLITCL: Specialized in artificial intelligence, big data, advanced electronics, intelligent infrastructures, electric mobility, digital health and virtual reality simulators.

Outstanding projects presented at Transfiere 2025

AIR Institute

AIR Institute presents several solutions in artificial intelligence and digitalization, including Apapachoa, a system of therapeutic dolls for people with Alzheimer’s or autism; Load Crutches, an intelligent crutch that measures the load exerted to improve rehabilitation; Spine Care, a device that optimizes postural hygiene; IA4Birds, an AI-based system to monitor birds in wind farms; and Certify, a project to improve cybersecurity in IoT devices.

CETECE

The LESSsugar Project develops cookies with 30% less sugar, improving the nutritional profile without compromising taste or texture. Through innovative ingredients and advanced techniques, it has been possible to reduce the glycemic response and increase the fiber content, offering a healthier product.

The participation of NODDO and the Technology Centers of Castilla y León in Transfiere 2025 reinforces their role in innovation and technology transfer. Together with Fedit and the 22 Technology Centers and regional groupings of the grouped stand, we contribute to strengthen industrial competitiveness and the application of R&D&I in the business fabric.

In an event of this magnitude, where strategic alliances are generated and the most disruptive advances are shared, the projects of the Technology Centers of Castilla y León demonstrate how R&D&I can improve business competitiveness and generate sustainable solutions for the future.
