NODDO promotes business competitiveness in Castilla y León through technology programs and services that bring together knowledge, innovation, and specialized expertise.

Business competitiveness increasingly depends on the ability to innovate, anticipate trends, adopt technology, and move toward efficient and sustainable models. In this context, NODDO, the association of Technology Centers of Castile and León, is driving the transformation of the business sector through programs and services designed to bring innovation to companies.

This work is supported by a well-established collaborative capacity, comprising nearly 1,000 professionals, 650 R&D&I projects per year, and 2,000 client companies over three years. With 79 million euros in revenue and 54% of its revenue coming from contracts with companies, NODDO embodies a specialized cooperative model that is connected to the market and focused on transferring technological knowledge.

On this basis, NODDO and the Technology Centers of Castile and León that make up the association are launching Centr@tec, the Technology Watch platform, and the ICT Solutions Catalog. These three complementary initiatives reinforce their role as a bridge between business needs and technological capabilities.

Centr@tec is an initiative funded by the Regional Government of Castile and León, through the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castile and León ( ICECYL), and coordinated by NODDO, the association of Technology Centers in Castile and León. The program offers free services tailored to each business’s specific situation to identify opportunities for improvement, implement technological solutions, optimize processes, move toward more sustainable models, or develop new business ideas.

Centr@tec provides free, personalized services to help small and medium-sized businesses turn their challenges into viable projects in innovation, digitalization, and sustainability.

Its approach supports both companies facing a specific challenge and those that need guidance on where to start. Through awareness-raising, conferences, workshops, training, technology services, and support for entrepreneurial initiatives, Centr@tec helps bring innovation to the region and turn it into viable projects.

Together with Centr@tec, the Technology Watch service has established itself as a strategic tool for decision-making. It collects, analyzes, and distributes information on patents, scientific publications, regulations, calls for proposals, market news, technology opportunities, and public tenders. Each year, it adds more than 12,000 classified and indexed records, which provide competitive intelligence to anticipate trends and identify opportunities.

NODDO’s Technology Watch transforms more than 12,000 records annually into strategic insights to anticipate trends and identify business opportunities.

In addition, NODDO incorporates an AI-powered chatbot for conversational searches in natural language, designed so that companies can articulate their needs based on their own challenges, even without using technical terminology. With semantic AI, knowledge is categorized by meaning, facilitating access to the capabilities of the Technology Centers that make up NODDO based on how each client understands and expresses their needs.

The third pillar is the Castilla y León ICT Solutions Catalog, a platform that connects companies seeking to advance their digital transformation with technology providers. Led by the Digital Transformation Support Unit, in collaboration with Castilla y León Technology Centers affiliated with NODDO, and within the framework of ICECYL’s Centr@tec, it facilitates the matching of supply and demand and highlights regional capabilities.

Through these technology programs and services, NODDO reinforces its commitment to applied innovation, cooperation, and technology transfer. Companies, SMEs, and entrepreneurs looking to make progress in innovation, digitalization, or sustainability can visit www.noddo.es to discover the services available to help them turn their challenges into opportunities for growth.
